Water Ring Toss Interactive
– “Water Ring Toss” is a classic game produced by TOMY. It resembles a miniature aquarium which is filled with water. By pressing a single button the player can pump water through an opening which then stirs up small plastic rings. It requires some practice and patience to maneuver these rings onto the target sticks. My work adopted this gameplay and brought it to a live-size scale. The setup consists out of a wooden plate with a sensor. When players jump onto the wooden plate they have to spin up the rings onto the target: a swimming noodle. – 2016
